DESCRIPTION
UT-M88 SP is a mechanical, nose, point-detonating fuze with delayed action and integrated self-destruction. It is used with 23x152 mm HEI and HEIT rounds fired from automatic guns 2A14, 2A14M, 2A7, and 2A7M, typically mounted on ZU-23-2 and ZSU-23-4 SHILKA air-defense systems. The fuze is safe in storage, handling, and operation, and provides reliable ammunition function in all weather conditions.
