DESCRIPTION
M79 High-Explosive (HE) round is intended for defeating enemy troops, artillery, anti-missile systems, and fortifications in open terrain or shelters. It is also suitable for breaching minefields and engineering obstacles. The round is compatible with 130 mm artillery guns using either full or reduced variable powder charge cartridge cases.
