DESCRIPTION
The cartridge is intended to engage lightly armored vehicles, field fortifications, and low-flying aircraft. It is used in KPV and KPVT heavy machine guns, ZPU-1 to ZPU-4 anti-aircraft systems, as well as IST-14.5 anti-materiel rifles. The API bullet combines armor-piercing and incendiary effects. The bullet tip is painted red and black.
